Alan Turing was a misfit genius. Widely considered the father of modern computing, he was a vital member of the British team that crack the German Enigma codes and helped win World War II. He was also chemically castrated by his own government for the crime of being gay and committed suicide by eating a poison apple at the age of 41.
I know this is already being made into a graphic novel, but hear me out. I think this story has tremendous amount of merit. I think it's visually interesting with a core character that is quite compelling. I think that the covering his whole life might be a challenge but I think we can cover a snippet of his life without a problem. I also don't know what the other graphic novel is about but I think we can make it more interesting by adhering to a very specific window: like the scene with the poisoned apple or his virtual excommunication from society.
